iContact is the email marketing autoresponder system I use when I want to import leads from certain opt-in forms.   Aweber won’t allow us to import a list of contacts whereas iContact does gives us that option; this can work better with some landing page setups.    You can use iContact for FREE up to 500 contacts.

HootSuite is the BIZ!! … HootSuite helps you manage your Social Media and keep on top of what’s going on.

The dashboard is clear and easy to use,  send real time or scheduled updates to Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, WordPress and other social networks via web, desktop or mobile apps (iPhone app works brilliantly).

The FREE version does most of the things, and if you want to be able to get detailed (very) analytics and be able to use multiple profiles and RSS feeds, then go for the PRO version.  Well worth the titchy $5.99 per month membership.   And as if that’s not enough… they have great free training and HootSuite University for those of us who want a fast track to great results
