Yippee… you’ve got your new blog up and it looks beautiful, just the way you imagined it would.  But horror of horrors… you’re face to face with a blank page… it looks very big and very white.

What on earth am I going to write about? How am I going to come up with something to say a regular basis?  PANIC!!

Whatever interests you will probably interest your regular readers.  It’s as simple as that. The source of your inspiration is all around you.

Here’s what I mean…

  • Your experiences.  Draw on the past and the present. What’s happening now or what has happened in the past and what did you learn from it.
  • Other people’s experiences.  If you associate with people who have already achieved some of what you and your readers aspire to… share the information and stories on your blog.
  • Training Courses and Webinars you attend.  Share some of the gems, if you found the information of value, so will your readers.
  • Books you are reading… share what inspired you.
  • Share useful resources you have found both on and off-line

To grow and become truly successful in our chosen field we need to constantly feed ourselves with valuable information and insights.  Simply use your own words to share some of this with others.  That way you’ll never experience writers block!

Here’s a great acronym that someone shared with me… L.I.S.T.

L – Learn it
I – Implement it
S – Share it
T – Train it
